Zhongshan accelerates construction of key projects to cope with project-driving strategy. In the first three quarters of this year, Zhongshan’s investment put on key projects reached 38.38 billion yuan, accounting for 82% of the annual investment planning. Up to now, totally 34 out of the 74 provincial key projects in Zhongshan are under construction. It’s worth mentioning that in the first three quarters the investment put on these 34 projects has reached 9.13 billion yuan, exceeding the 9.04 billion yuan annual investment planning three months in advance.

Over the first three quarters of this year, about 65% (31 out of 48) of the new projects have begun construction. In the first 9 months, the investment put on these projects reached 7.88 billion yuan, accounting for 70.2% of the annual investment planning (11.22 billion yuan). Provincial key projects such as the new Zhongshan Port Passenger Terminal in Ma’an Island and the R&D and production of the intelligent cleaning robots have started.
