It was the International Volunteer Day on December 5. Days before, Zhongshan Volunteer Service Federation released the “Research Report on the Institutionalization of Volunteer Services in Zhongshan”. 

The report reveals that in Zhongshan there are 4221 voluntary teams in various kinds, with up to 250 thousand volunteers in total. Each of them provides more than 26 hours of service per year.
