Updated: 2017-12-13    Source: Zhongshan Large Medium Small Print

On December 11, when a Zhongshan-licensed truck approached to the Zhongshan Exit of Guangzhou-Zhuhai West Line Highway, it quickly got through the capturing and evidence-collecting process of an off-site enforcement after passing the axle identification system and weighing apparatus. Its pictures and information of suspected overloading, if any, would have been pushed to the provincial enforcement system.

Official from Zhongshan Transportation Bureau states that highway off-site enforcement on overloading and speeding has been implemented for three months in Zhongshan and made remarkable achievements. The number of related highway traffic violation has decreased by 60% compared with the previous year.

Since August 1 of this year, Zhongshan has officially implemented the highway off-site enforcement on overloading and speeding at 21 entrances and exits of 5 five highways.
