The result of the 2016 Guangdong Provincial Environmental Responsibility Assessment (ERA) was released recently. Zhongshan got “excellent mark”once again and extended the streak to ten from 2007 to 2016.

In 2016, Zhongshan got “excellent grade” in four major environmental protection works. In addition, Zhongshan topped the province in water renovation and “yellow-label vehicle” removal. Zhongshan Environmental Protection Bureau, who won the “Guangdong Advanced Unit of Environmental Protection in 2011-2015” title, was commended by provincial government.
