Zhongshan’s overall vegetable prices for the 4th quarter declined, according to Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau.

Q4 monitoring data of the city's 27 markets shows that the average retail price of 30 kinds of vegetables was 3.82 yuan (per 500 gram, the same below) in October, 3.68 yuan in November and 3.67yuan in December respectively. The average monthly retail price in December drops 6.14% from September.

Staff of Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau said that affected by typhoon and other natural disasters, the vegetable price was relatively high in the 3rd quarter. In the 4th quarter, as the production and supply of vegetables recovered after the natural influencing factors gone, vegetable prices were stopped going up.
