Zhongshan’s “old-aged care standardization pilot project” passed expert assessment late last month. Relevant leaders from Department of Service Industry Standards of Standardization Administration of the P.R.C, Standardization Office of Guangdong Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, Zhongshan Bureau of Civil Affairs and Zhongshan Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision attended the assessment conference.

It is reportedly that 19 town-level nursing homes based in Zhongshan have confirmed “Fine Standardization Behaviors” and have completed Guangdong provincial standards “The Service Standards for Retirement Organizations”, 21 Standards of Zhongshan’s Old-aged Care Service Alliance, and 2 scientific research projects. The corresponding results have obtained provincial and municipal science and technology awards.
