Last year more than 1.26 million people took inbound and outbound trip through Zhongshan Port, according to Zhongshan Frontier Inspection Station. It was the 15th consecutive year the figure exceeds 1 million.

Statistically, last year Zhongshan Frontier Inspection Station checked 1.26 million tourists, an increase of 8.6% year on year. The number of outbound tourists was 642.7 thousand, up 7.2%, while the number of inbound tourists reached 619.2 thousand, up 10%.
