Director of Guangdong Provincial Propaganda Department Shen Haixiong visited Zhongshan on December 26 to 27, 2017 for investigation to the development of cultural industry. 

Shen Haixiong took a tour at revolutionary historical monument Yang Yin’s Former Residence and was reported life stories of the martyr. He spoke highly of Zhongshan’s experience on “red resources” protection, and underlined that these “red resources” should be made the most of in later generations’ education. 

Shen Haixiong also visited South District Public Welfare Park, Zhongshan Culture and Art Center, Zhongshan Broadcast and Television Station, Sun Wen Road West, Guangdong Game and Amusement Culture Industry City and Yakou Village in Nanlang to investigate the propaganda work in communities, cultural volunteer services, media innovation, public culture-related facilities planning and construction, National Intangible Cultural Heritage protection, development of creative industry, and new village construction.
