Zhongshan recently added two more birth defects intervention centers, including one in Zhongshan People’s Hospital and one in Xiaolan People’s Hospital.

These two centers will provide premarital medical examination, pre-pregnancy medical examination, prenatal screening, prenatal diagnosis, newborn genetic metabolic disease screening and prenatal and postnatal care consulting to target population.
