“The Implementing Measures for the Poor College Students Aid Program” of South District came into effect from January 1, 2018.

According to The Implementing Measures, “college students” refers to students studying in state-certified full-time ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities, higher vocational schools or junior colleges. “Poor students” includes college and university students with South District household registration who are from low-income families or of other difficulties.

The program also requires sponsored students to have good moral integrity, living style and law-abiding consciousness.

Eligible students can get one-time full funding every semester. They can apply for 100% reimbursement with tuition fee invoice. In addition, their basic living allowance is 6,000 yuan per year per student.
