National Administration of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation has approved Zhongshan as one of the third pilot cities of the compilation of China City Atlas, says Zhongshan Land and Resources Bureau.

Zhongshan has started the compilation project of Zhongshan Atlas last year. Currently, the project budget has passed the evaluation of provincial finance experts. 

Reportedly, there is a wealth of well-structured map and image information in Zhongshan Atlas, which clearly and accurately reflects the distribution and the relativity of different natural and human factors in the city. It will become an important window showing Zhongshan’s developmental achievements as well.
