Spring Festival travel rush in 2018 will last for 40 days from February 1. On January 20, Guangdong Zhongshan-Jiangmen Expressway Co Ltd released the transport information in advance.

During the Spring Festival travel rush, the traffic flow of Zhongjiang section of Zhongshan-Jiangmen Expressway is predicted to exceed 5.57 million vehicles, with an increase of 14.56% over the same period of last year. The traffic peak before the festival will start on February 1 and last until February 9, with average daily traffic of about 160 thousand vehicles. The post-festival traffic peak will appear from March 3 to 10, with average daily traffic of more than 159 thousand vehicles. 

In accordance with the relevant policies, during the Spring Festival of 2018, cars with 7 or less seats can travel on highways for free from 0:00 February 15 to 24:00 February 21.
