On January 24, the public infant room set between North Gate 2 and North Gate 3 of the 1st floor of Zhongshan City Administrative Service Center was officially put into use. Its opening hours are the same with the working hours of the center. Reportedly, the city's first batch of 30 public places  infant rooms (pilot) have been completed. 72 more ones are planed to be built for the 2nd batch. At least 3 infant rooms to be built in each town.

Reportedly, from July to December 2017, Zhongshan built a total of 30 infant rooms(pilot). The 30 infant rooms are located in hospitals, urban community health service agencies, parks, bus stations, tourist attractions, etc. It is worth mentioning that some factories, enterprises and business organizations have also actively involved in building infant rooms. 

2018-2019 is the comprehensive construction stage of infant rooms. Pilot experience will be promoted to townships.
