Zhongshan’s express market increased rapidly, for both the delivery volume and income “blossomed” in 2017. Last year, the express delivery volume increased 27.33% from 2016 to 312 million parcels, ranking 30th nationwide and 7th province-wide. The delivery income totaled 3.485bn yuan, with a 21.32% growth, ranking 28th across the country and 6th in Guangdong.

Last year’s business peak appeared in November, directly owing to the “Double 11 (November 11)” e-commerce platforms shopping promotion. The monthly delivery volume reached 34.77 million parcels, which grew 12.56% from November 2016 and accounted for 11.15% of the 2017 total amount.
