On January 29, travel platform Didi released the 2017 Urban Transportation Report, which analyzed the traffic situation of 100 cities with high daily trips and large population. According to the report, Zhongshan has the 10th longest average commuting distance, which amounted to 15km, among the 100 cities.

Beijing ranked 1st in “average commuting distance”, followed by Dongguan and Shenzhen. Zhongshan ranked 10th, with average commuting distance of 15km.

Several cities in Pearl River Delta are among the top 10 in the “inter-city commuting” ranking. “Shenzhen-Dongguan”, “Guangzhou-Foshan” and “Guangzhou-Dongguan” had become the most 3 popular intercity commuting routes, while “Zhongshan-Zhuhai” line ranked 9th. 

The 6pm-7pm period had become the busiest traffic time in Zhongshan, according to the report.
