According to the housing and urban-rural construction work conference convened on January 30, this year Zhongshan plans to start 41 relevant construction projects and continued 13, including the water improvement and renovation in central areas, road upgrade in central city, transformation of power grid cable, road micro-circulation reconstruction, and etc.

As planned, this year total 135 roads in central city will be upgraded to asphalt concrete pavement from cement concrete pavement for the purposes of environmental protection, dust prevention, noise reduction and driving comfort improvement.

In addition, water improvement and renovation will be intensified in central areas. So far, the renovation of flood discharge channels around Evergrande Oasis community has been started, while the water improvement project for 10 rivers in central city is under the design stage.
