‘Back pay’ enterprises might be ‘blacklisted’

“The Enforcement Regulations on Trustworthiness Incentives and Dishonesty Punishments for Enterprises and Social Organizations” will come into effect from this March 1 for 5 years, says Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. The Regulations specify the credit behaviors of enterprises and social organizations in terms of labor employment, wage payment, social security payment and etc as well as the relevant reward and punishment mechanism. 

According to the Regulations, total 14 types of behaviors, such as “delay to pay the wages of the workers and staffs for three times within a year”, will be recorded as “severe bad credit information”. Enterprises or social organizations with “severe bad credit information” will be supervised and monitored and prohibited from “outstanding appraisal”. Meanwhile, legal representatives and related members of company with revoked business licence will be blacklisted and legally restricted, when enterprises and social organizations with good credit record will be rewarded.
