Temperature drops suddenly in recent days, but made little impact on Zhongshan people’s travel. As the winter holiday and Spring Festival approach, according to Zhongshan Frontier Inspection Station, Zhongshan Port sees increasing passenger volume recently. The daily average entry-exit passenger volume in the past 10 days reached 4,000 person-time, up by about 30% from ordinary days.

In order to cope with the coming passenger flow peak, Zhongshan Frontier Inspection Station and Zhongshan-Hong Kong Passenger Shipping Co-Op Co Ltd determined to add 5 inbound flights and 4 outbound flights each day during February 1 to 21. Besides, Zhongshan Frontier Inspection Station will open additional customs channels, as well as “green channels” specially for tour groups with aged people, pregnant women and disabled persons.
