10 days before the Spring Festival, low-income resident Wu Youtian moved into the new house with his son.

Wu lives in Gangkou town. He was physically disabled since childhood and does odd jobs to support the family and his son’s education. For years, Wu and his son have been living with his brother. In early 2017, he was selected as the targeted people of “dilapidated house renovation project”. With financial subsidies from government, Wu Youtian and his son realize the “comfort house dream”.

Reportedly, in 2017, Gangkou township government has invested 3,070,000 yuan to reconstruct 1,460-sqm large of dilapidated houses for a total of 29 poor families or families with life difficulties.
