Since the beginning of February, the two-month special action on livestock and poultry pollution in Nanlang town achieved remarkable result.

Before that, the similar action conducted by Gangkou township government just concluded. Total 14 illegal livestock and poultry farms along rivers within Nanlang had been removed.

Crackdowns on livestock and poultry pollution have been ongoing in Zhongshan, according to Zhongshan Agricultural Bureau. Many township governments aim to shut down illegal farms with pollution discharge within the administrative region.
