At 2PM on February 7, Miss Qiu became the first to come to Bo’ai Hospital for quadrivalent human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine injection. The first batch of quadrivalent HPV vaccine is on the Zhongshan market on that day, which marks that women in Zhongshan, aged between 20 and 45, have a better measure to prevent cervical disease.

It is introduced that each community health service centers and adult vaccination clinics will provide vaccine injections soon. Up to now, more than 900 women have made appointment for vaccination. 

The main target group of quadrivalent HPV vaccine is females aged 20 to 45. The full vaccination of three injections cost 2469 yuan.
