Zhongshan’s tourism industry was booming during the Spring Festival holiday (Feb 15 to Feb 21). The tourism revenue increased 15.21% year-on-year to 500mn yuan. Up to 178 thousand tourists stayed overnight in Zhongshan, with a 13.37% growth.

About 62.1% tourists came from Guangdong, most of which were from Zhuhai, Guangzhou and Foshan city. About 18.3% tourists were from outside Guangdong, most of which were from Hunan, Hubei province and Shanghai city. About 19.6% were entry visitors, most of which were from Hong Kong.
