According to Zhongshan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, during the Spring Festival, Zhongshan has provided 587 batches of edible agricultural products to Hong Kong and Macao, worth $6.03 million in total. Among them, there were 626 tons of vegetables and 1,137 tons of aquatic animals and products, up by 9.1% and 7.3% respectively. In addition, there were165 live pigs and 6,400 chilled poultry, with 100% quality qualified ratio.

Zhongshan is one of the major edible agricultural products bases for Hong Kong and Macao. The annual supply of live fish and vegetables are more than 50,000 tons.
