The 2018 Hurun Global Rich List was released days before. Total 2,694 billionaires of 2,157 companies from 68 countries were included on the list.

Three Zhongshan-based persons including Sun Qinghuan, Cai Xiaoru and Lu Chuping (with his wife) were on the list. Sun Qinghuan, Head of LED product maker MLS, became the richest in Zhongshan with 18bn yuan net worth.
