On the morning of March 12, Chinese Tree Planting Day, city leaders including Chen Xudong (Municipal Party Secretary and Director of The Standing Committee of The Municipal People’s Congress), Qiu Shuhong (Chairman of Municipal Committee of CPPCC) and Tang Ying (Executive Deputy Director of The Standing Committee of The Municipal People’s Congress) participated in the tree planting activity held in Zhongshan Arboretum, calling on citizens to taking part in afforestation and “National Forest City” creation.
