The 2018 Zhongshan Trade, Investment and Top Talent Fair opened on March 28. Reportedly, Zhongshan keeps optimizing business environment and attracts more and more merchants coming for investment and starting businesses. 

"In recent years it is getting more convenient to handle business affairs, such as tax paying and commercial registration." Said Miss Wang, responsible person of Guanglong Valve (Guangdong) Co Ltd. She completed the certificate registration days before in Zhongshan Public Service Center just within 1 hour.

Reportedly, government departments including taxation, commercial and industry bureaus have opened service windows in Zhongshan Public Service Center, the main carrier of the city's reform of government affairs service and administrative approval system. More than 5,000 people come for affairs handling every day.

As the commercial system reform goes well, Zhongshan is striding forward on the development path of "The City with the Best Business Environment". 

Reportedly, in 2017, Zhongshan launched another "steward-type" service for key enterprises and projects. In specific, Zhongshan Public Service Center arranges a group of specially-assigned staffs to offer "steward-type" service to leading and key enterprises in problem solving in the production and operation process.

Meanwhile, the Zhongshan International Trade Single Window platform has been put into operation on August 7, 2017. Local enterprises cleared 121,500 batches of goods through the "Single Window", accounting more than 30% of the total last year. Customs clearance time for import and export enterprises and large production enterprises has been averagely reduced by 10 hours and 5 hours, with clearance efficiency increased by 27% and 56% respectively.

Last year, local taxation bureau helped enterprises reduce scientific and technological innovation tax of 440mn yuan, including 54mn yuan tax cut in research and development. An amount of 97mn yuan tax was also reduced for small and medium enterprises.
