After 7 years’ development, Zhongshan has achieved full coverage of family planning insurance for all towns and districts, according to Insurance Association Of Zhongshan.

Last year, Zhongshan’s insurance fee scale reached 20.2mn yuan, ranking the third in Guangdong province. About 45.7% (144.3 thousand) local families, including 8.8 thousand floating population families, were benefited by family planning insurance system. Up to 2,187 persons claims 121.7mn yuan settlement from the insurance system.
