The result of The 2017 Guangdong Traffic Safety Culture Demonstration Unit Selection was announced days before. 5 Zhongshan-based units including Gangyuan Village in Shaxi Town, Yongning Community in Xiaolan Town, Zaide Primary School in Sanxiang Town, Jianxin Motor Transport Service Co Ltd in Torch Development Zone and Zhongshan Atobo Toy Co Ltd were on the list.

Total 53 out of 61 nominated units province-wide were entitled “Traffic Safety Culture Demonstration Unit” after the comprehensive evaluation conducted by Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department and other 6 departments.
