The exposure draft of The Trial Zhongshan Technical Guide for Dust Pollution Control at Construction Sites is being publicized for opinions. The guide, which requires construction to be conducted under “target responsibility management”, will come into effect next month.

According to the guide, the construction with 4 meters or higher height must be covered by vertically-movable protecting nets outside of the scaffolding. At construction sites, three-dimensional dust-lowering facilities must be installed and utilized no less than 5 times a day, at least 15 minutes a time. In serious pollution weather, these facilities should be used more frequently and for longer time.
