The Economic and Information Commission of Guangdong Province announced the project plan of The 2018 Provincial Level Special Fund for Promoting Economic Development (the Development of Advanced Equipment Manufacturing in West Bank of the Pearl River). Zhongshan is expected to receive support fund of 195mn yuan, the second most following Yangjiang city. 

According to the fund planning, a total of nearly 1.876bn yuan will be allocated to 20 cities. Yangjiang is hopefully to receive the most allocated fund of 320mn yuan.
