The “Trail Abnormal Fluctuating Prices Response Program” was released on May 3 by Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau to cope with abnormal fluctuation of market prices and to maintain market stability.

According to the Trail Response Program, abnormal prices fluctuation in market will be divided into three alert categories. Once the abnormal prices fluctuation found occurred, the according regional price departments will immediately trace and monitor the price variation and provided resolution. Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau will evaluate the abnormal condition in accordance with the alert information and monitoring data, and identify the alert category, and then adopt necessary prevention and control measures.
