Zhongshan has sent another 54 municipal medical experts to township areas to provide assistance in 15 hospitals and community health service centers, according to Zhongshan Health and Family Planning Bureau.

“From January this year, we have sent 16 medical workers to hospitals and heath service centers in West District, Fusha Town and Minzhong Town, hoping to improve their medical service capacity.” Said Li Leyu, deputy dean of Zhongshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

The “medical experts assistance program” has been run since May of 2017. Two batches of experts are sent to township areas so far.
