The 10th session of the Standing Committee of the 15th Zhongshan Municipal People’s Congress was convened on the afternoon of May 28.

The meeting deliberated the inspection report over the implementation of “Forest Law of the People’s Republic of China” and “Enforcement Regulations of Forest Law of the People’s Republic of China” provided by the Standing Committee of Zhongshan Municipal People’s Congress, and the reports over the goal completion of environmental protection for 2017 and archives management work provided by municipal government.

Hu Jianpu was approved by voting at the meeting and appointed as Zhongshan Deputy Mayor.

The meeting also voted through the personnel appointments and removals submitted by Zhongshan People's Procuratorate.
