The Zhongshan 2018 Environment Regulation Conference for College Entrance Exam and Academic Proficiency Test was convened on May 30.

Reportedly, total 17,729 students will take the college entrance examination this year in 11 testing centers (614 examination rooms). The college entrance examination will last three days from June 7 to 9. 

The academic proficiency test for middle school students will be taken on June 9. A total of 15,445 students will take the exam in 9 testing centers (524 examination rooms).

Up to 30,990 students registered the senior high school entrance examination. They will take the exam in 38 testing centers (1,034 examination rooms). Meanwhile 36,299 grade-two junior high school students will take the geography and biology examinations in 1,215 examination rooms. 

Personal identification devices, anti-cheating systems and video monitors will be continuously used in the venues of college entrance examination this year. Examination invigilators will check examinees’ exam admission tickets and ID cards. Fingerprint identification equipment will be used to identify surrogate exam-takers.
