The application for the 2018 promotion fund for export credit insurance is underway. According to Zhongshan Commercial Bureau, Zhongshan-based small and medium export companies who have joined export credit insurance have been fully financed by provincial and municipal special fund from 2017.

In recent years, says Li Jingjin, general manager of Zhongshan Sales Department of China Export and Credit Insurance Corporation Guangdong Branch, more and more Zhongshan enterprises started to explore emerging markets, leading to rapid increasing number of insured companies and insured amount of export credit insurance. Last year, more than 30 export credit insurance claiming cases were accepted in Zhongshan, involving $30mn money. Over half of clients’ losses had been retrieved.
