Zhongshan People’s Hospital held public education activities on organ donation on June 11. More than 500 people, including hospital leaders, medical personnel, patients, families of inpatients, medical college interns, medical students, social workers, volunteers and etc participated in the signature activity. 

“Organ donation after death is very significant, especially to people who need help and hope. I strongly support organ donation.” Said Mr. Liu, who joined the activity and filled out an organ donation application online.

Reportedly, since organ donation began in 2009 in Zhongshan, 217 people have donated organs after death, which had saved 1,016 patients.
