Currently, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Library is under interior decoration after the external scaffolds are removed. It will officially open to public in November this year.

It is reported that Sun Yat-sen Memorial Library covers an area of 18,344.2 square meters, with a total construction area of 59,266.25 square meters. It can accommodate up to 8,000 readers per day, with designed collection of 3.2 million books and 2,000 reading seats.
