Zhongshan Civil Affairs Bureau recently seeks for opinions for the new regulations (exposure draft) on the issuing of special fund for conscription family.

According to the exposure draft, in future the distribution standard of the special fund for conscription family will be unified as “45% of the per capita disposable income of permanent urban residents of previous year”. Taking 2018 as an example, the per capita disposable income of permanent urban residents for 2017 was 45,295 yuan, in which case the special fund for conscription family will be 20,382.75 yuan.

According to the old standard, the average special fund for conscription family in Zhongshan was about 19,000 yuan. So far, the special fund for 2017 has been distributed to more than 1,000 qualified families, said Wang Guanghao of Zhongshan Civil Affairs Bureau.
