Sanxiang Town released the “Implementation Plan of the Compulsive Household Garbage Classification” days before, stating that from July 24 compulsive household garbage classification would be implemented in public institutions including township party and government institutions, state-owned enterprises, schools, hospitals, stations and artistic performance venues, following in rural areas and communities. 

According to Lin Shaoming, Township Party Secretary of Sanxiang, administrative units and schools should take the lead in pilot implementation of garbage classification, aiming to guide residents to set up the concept of “waste reduction” and to educate residents with common sense on garbage classification.
