The major commodity prices in Zhongshan remained stable in July, while vegetable prices rose slightly, according to Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau.

The average monthly transaction price of 30 kinds of vegetables in July rose 1.12% to 7.20 yuan/kg from a month earlier. On the whole, vegetable prices have been stable since May owing to plentiful supply, but increase slightly because of frequent typhoons and abundant rainfalls.

The prices of pork, beef, chicken and duck all see slight rise in July, while the egg price drops a bit from June.
