Deductible amount is the minimum amount of pay covered by basic medical insurance. From next year on, this benefit will be adjusted, says Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.

According to relevant regulations, the deductible amount for insured person who is transferred to other designated hospitals in Zhongshan for further treatment can be accumulated within 24 hours.

This policy will be implemented from January 1, 2019. It will help reduce the financial burden on the insured.
