The basic pension for retirees of enterprises and government departments and public institutions in the city is up-regulated in accordance with provincial policy since January 1, 2018, says Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.

Reportedly, retirees who have received basic pension before December 31, 2017, and retirees who receive basic pension for the first time from January to June 2018, will be benefited.

Responsible person of Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau says the average increase reaches 5%. However, due to different basic pension levels, payment years and ages of retirees, there will be differences in the actual adjusted pension growth. 

Notably, the balance for the first 8 months of this year will be reissued by the end of August.
