Environmental Protection Department of Guangdong Province released the air quality ranking for July on August 12. Zhongshan ranks 7th province-wide. Compared with the same period in 2017, 15 cities including Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Yangjiang see improved air. The air quality of six cities including Chaozhou, Huizhou and Heyuan gets worse.

From January to July, the environmental air quality in 13 cities including Zhongshan, Foshan and Jiangmen has been improved. Zhongshan’s air ranks 9th in Guangdong.

The Environmental Protection Department of Guangdong Province also released the water quality ranking of national surface water section. Zhongshan ranks 8th province-wide.
