Zhongshan People’s Hospital became the first national chest pain center in the city.

According to Feng Li, director of Vasculocardiology Deparment, the hospital had received 318 cases transferred from basic-level hospitals since since the establishment of the chest pain center.

At present, Zhongshan People’s Hospital has developed a chest pain first emergency network with the 8 township hospitals in Henglan, Nanlang, Sanxiang, Banfu, Tanzhou, Minzhong, South District and Dongsheng. Chest pain patients in any of the said hospitals can be treated under remote diagnosis and information sharing.
