Vice-governor of Guangdong Chen Liangxian visited Zhongshan on August 13 for research and supervision of the city’s industry-based economy and traffic construction. He spoke highly of the achievements Zhongshan made, and made explicit requirements.

The vice-governor stressed that Zhongshan should accelerate construction of modern industrial system by persisting in innovation development, speeding up industrialization and market promotion of cutting-edge technologies, and fostering new economic growth point. Zhongshan should develop dynamic intelligent manufacturing service platform, deepen integration with real economy, and urge enterprise transformation. Zhongshan should also strengthen industrial investment and technical reform and introduce top talents for new development of industry.

Chen Liangxian in addition pointed out that Zhongshan should advance integration to the development of the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”, facilitate human traffic, logistics and capital flow, and drive economic development taking advantage of the construction of Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel.
