So far eleven characteristic towns in Zhongshan have announced the “talent demand list”, according to Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. It is reported that qualified talents can enjoy the rewards provided by the characteristic towns in addition to the city-level talent treatment.

The 11 characteristic towns include Banfu Small Town, Zhongshan International Baseball Small Town, Lighting Small Town, Zhongshan Lingnan Water Tourism Small Town, Cuiheng Tourism & Music Small Town, South China TCM Health Small Town, China Brand Appliances Small Town, Diyin Lake Small Town, Hot Spring Small Town, Fashion Clothing Small Town and Changmingshui Agilawood Small Town.
