Primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in Zhongshan, as well as UESTC Zhongshan Institute, all held opening ceremonies on September 3, the school opening day of the fall semester of 2018.

Statistics show that there have been more than 660 thousand students at all levels in Zhongshan by the end of 2017.

There are different goals at different stages of study. The opening ceremonies of local primary schools are relatively interesting and creative. Meanwhile, secondary schools and university focus more on arousing students’ patriotism and social responsibility.
