The 6th Sun Yat-sen and Soong Ching-ling Seminar organized by China Soong Ching-ling Foundation jointly with Sun Yat-sen Academic Culture Foundation and Sun Yat-sen Research Institute was held at Zhongshan’s Sun Yat-sen’s Former Residence on September 3.

This seminar themed on “Sun Yat-sen and Soong Ching-ling’s thoughts and the New Era”, with over 120 experts and scholars, guests and representatives of organizers attended. Scholars from both sides of the Taiwan Strait had an in-depth discussion on economic, political, diplomatic, feminist, national and philosophical thoughts of Sun Yat-sen and Soong Ching-ling’s.

The “Sun Yat-sen and His Time” exhibition also opened on the same day.

During the seminar, the Taiwanese guests also visited Sun Yat-sen Former Residence Cultural Park, Zhongshan-based high-tech industrial zone, the Huangpu Military Academy, Huanghuagang Mausoleum of the Seventy-two Martyrs, and Sun Yat-Sen University.
