From August 15, Zhongshan Food and Drug Administration began to conduct safety inspections on food in schools and surrounding areas to ensure food safety for teachers and students.

At present, 133 cafeterias of primary and secondary schools in the city reach Grade A, and 878 cafeterias of schools (including kindergartens) reach Grade B and above. “Open kitchens” have been built in all schools of the city to comprehensively improve the food safety level of school cafeterias.
