The first Zhongshan residence permits were issued to 6 residents from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan by Zhou Yunfeng, security administration detachment leader of Zhongshan Public Security Bureau, on September 18.

The six were happy to receive their residence permits. They expressed their expectations for public service and convenience involved in their study, employment and living in Zhongshan.

Previously, Zhongshan public security organs had established 25 service windows for the application of residence permits for Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan residents. From September 1 to 17, Zhongshan had already accepted 3,179 applications.
